A 26-year-old nurse working at the André-Grégoire Hospital in Montreuil and her partner, Redouane E., were formally charged on Saturday, August 2. She is being prosecuted for sexµal assault on a minor under the age of 15; he is charged with complicity in sexµal assault, possession, recording, and distribution of child pornography, according to the Bobigny prosecutor's office.

A few days earlier, a video had circulated on TikTok and Instagram, reporting abuse and sexµal assault on babies “in a hospital in Seine-Saint-Denis.” The nurse went to the Clichy-Montfermeil police station on Wednesday, July 30, to turn herself in. She reportedly told investigators that she had filmed the molestation to send it to her 28-year-old partner, explaining that she was under his influence, according to RTL.

The management of the Grand Paris Nord-Est hospital group (GHT) confirmed that the nurse worked "exclusively in the neonatal intensive care unit of Montreuil Hospital," and not in the maternity ward. She has been suspended as a precautionary measure since the case came to light, pending the outcome of the investigation. The incidents occurred between December 2024 and January 2025. So far, neither the victims nor their families have been identified, according to BFMTV.
Protesters Denounce Hospital’s Responsibility :
Around fifty people gathered at the hospital on Saturday, August 2, to call out the institution's responsibility in the matter. They accused the hospital of not acting swiftly enough to protect the infants and to identify those responsible, reports Le Parisien.

The protest also denounced the alleged racist nature of the sexµal assaults committed by the couple. However, investigators have not confirmed this claim. According to the prosecutor’s office, “there was no racial motivation in the acts; one of the children is white, the other is Black.” No damage was reported on site, and no arrests were made, according to a police source. The investigation is ongoing.
