Honestly, OP had a pretty difficult choice to make. Her family gave her up, and barely contacted her. Then in the future, after her sister dies, they try to rekindle their relationship. I really can't blame OP for not wanting to be bothered. However, you only have one mom and dad. What do y'all think?
